إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ
Innal-insana lirabbihee lakanood
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
Quran 100:6 — Surah Al-Adiyat
This is verse 6 of 11 in Surah Al-Adiyat (العاديات), meaning “The Courser”. It is a Meccan surah — revealed in Makkah before the Hijrah. This verse is located in Juz 30 (Part 30) of the Quran.

Innal-insana lirabbihee lakanood
فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًۭا
Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust,
فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا
Arriving thereby in the center collectively,
إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ
Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful.
وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ
And indeed, he is to that a witness.
وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ
And indeed he is, in love of wealth, intense.
