Chapter 82 · The Cleaving · Juz 30
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ
Yaaa ayyuhal insaaanu maa gharraka bi Rabbikal kareem
O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,
Quran 82:6 — Surah Al-Infitar
This is verse 6 of 19 in Surah Al-Infitar (الانفطار), meaning “The Cleaving”. It is a Meccan surah — revealed in Makkah before the Hijrah. This verse is located in Juz 30 (Part 30) of the Quran.

Yaaa ayyuhal insaaanu maa gharraka bi Rabbikal kareem
وَإِذَا ٱلْقُبُورُ بُعْثِرَتْ
And when the [contents of] graves are scattered,
عَلِمَتْ نَفْسٌۭ مَّا قَدَّمَتْ وَأَخَّرَتْ
A soul will [then] know what it has put forth and kept back.
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ ٱلْكَرِيمِ
O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,
ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَكَ فَسَوَّىٰكَ فَعَدَلَكَ
Who created you, proportioned you, and balanced you?
فِىٓ أَىِّ صُورَةٍۢ مَّا شَآءَ رَكَّبَكَ
In whatever form He willed has He assembled you.
