Chapter 56 · The Inevitable · Juz 27
وَكُنتُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا ثَلَٰثَةًۭ
Wa kuntum azwaajan salaasah
And you become [of] three kinds:
Quran 56:7 — Surah Al-Waqiah
This is verse 7 of 96 in Surah Al-Waqiah (الواقعة), meaning “The Inevitable”. It is a Meccan surah — revealed in Makkah before the Hijrah. This verse is located in Juz 27 (Part 27) of the Quran.

Wa kuntum azwaajan salaasah
وَبُسَّتِ ٱلْجِبَالُ بَسًّۭا
And the mountains are broken down, crumbling
فَكَانَتْ هَبَآءًۭ مُّنۢبَثًّۭا
And become dust dispersing.
وَكُنتُمْ أَزْوَٰجًۭا ثَلَٰثَةًۭ
And you become [of] three kinds:
فَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَيْمَنَةِ
Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?
وَأَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْمَشْـَٔمَةِ
And the companions of the left - what are the companions of the left?
