Chapter 75 · The Resurrection · Juz 29
يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ
Yaqoolul insaanu yaw ma 'izin aynal mafarr
Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"
Quran 75:10 — Surah Al-Qiyamah
This is verse 10 of 40 in Surah Al-Qiyamah (القيامة), meaning “The Resurrection”. It is a Meccan surah — revealed in Makkah before the Hijrah. This verse is located in Juz 29 (Part 29) of the Quran.

Yaqoolul insaanu yaw ma 'izin aynal mafarr
وَخَسَفَ ٱلْقَمَرُ
And the moon darkens
وَجُمِعَ ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ
And the sun and the moon are joined,
يَقُولُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ يَوْمَئِذٍ أَيْنَ ٱلْمَفَرُّ
Man will say on that Day, "Where is the [place of] escape?"
كَلَّا لَا وَزَرَ
No! There is no refuge.
إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ
To your Lord, that Day, is the [place of] permanence.
