Chapter 69 · The Reality · Juz 29
وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍۢ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Wa laa biqawli kaahin; qaleelam maa tazakkaroon
Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember.
Quran 69:42 — Surah Al-Haqqah
This is verse 42 of 52 in Surah Al-Haqqah (الحاقة), meaning “The Reality”. It is a Meccan surah — revealed in Makkah before the Hijrah. This verse is located in Juz 29 (Part 29) of the Quran.

Wa laa biqawli kaahin; qaleelam maa tazakkaroon
إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍۢ كَرِيمٍۢ
[That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger.
وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍۢ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تُؤْمِنُونَ
And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe.
وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍۢ ۚ قَلِيلًۭا مَّا تَذَكَّرُونَ
Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember.
تَنزِيلٌۭ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ
[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ ٱلْأَقَاوِيلِ
And if Muhammad had made up about Us some [false] sayings,
